If you enjoy a drink ever so often, keep your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your handbag, your money belt, and leave all money, charge cards and checkbooks at home. Only take only the cash you expect to use on beverages, tipping and few dollars you intend to lose and leave the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not at all. Realistic more like. You might have a profit after a intoxicated night out with your acquaintances and be lucky enough to hit a 25 minute toss at a smokin craps game. Don’t forget that account because it is as brief as it gets if you continuously drink alcohol and bet. The pair simply do not go well together.
Keeping your moolah back at the hotel is a little bit drastic, but defensive measures for dramatic behavior is essential. If you play to win, then don’t drink alcohol and bet. If you like to be wasteful with your $$$$ without a worry, then drink all the no charge beer your stomach can handle, but do not pack plastic credit and checks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your drunken head squanders all the cash!
Permit me to take this one step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then jump on the net to gamble in your favorite online casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my condo, but due to the fact that I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards at my fingertips, I can’t drink and wager.
How come? Although I do not drink alcohol to excess, once I drink alcohol, it is clearly enough to blur my better judgment. I wager, so I don’t drink when betting. If you are a drinker, do not bet at the same time. Both create a dangerous, and expensive, drink.
