If you like to have a beverage every so often, keep your money out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your evening bag, your wallet, and leave all cash, credit cards and checks out of the casino. Take whatever cash you expect to use on refreshments, tipping and few dollars you expect to burn and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Not at all. Just realistic. You may well experience a success following a boozy night out with your comrades and be lucky enough to hook a long roll at a smokin craps table. Don’t forget that account seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you always consume alcohol and gamble. These activities just don’t mix.
Keeping your money out of the casino is a tiny bit dramatic, but preventative actions for dramatic behavior is necessary. If you wager to win, then don’t drink and bet. If you are able to afford to blow your $$$$ without a concern, then drink all the complimentary alcohol your stomach can handle, but do not pack charge cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of going after losses after your befuddled self squanders all the cash!
Allow me to carry this one step further. do not drink and then go online to gamble in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a beer from the comfort of my condo, but seeing that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards near by, I can not consume alcohol and wager.
How come? Even though I do not drink alcohol a lot, once I consume alcohol, it is certainly enough to befuddle my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t consume alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, don’t gamble at the same time. Both create a decimating, and costly, cocktail.
